Just how amazingly beautiful is this shoot? Seriously, Natalia, Karmen and Christy are PERFECTION personified. I couldn't have chosen better models for this.

The retro feeling of this is what caught my SOUL. You know how much I love anything remotely vintage and the overall 50's feeling of this shoot is just amazing. Steve Meisel has done it again. He is a GENIOUS.

Hi Mr. Elbaz,
Umm, how are you doing?. You ok?...Of course you are more than fine. You are Albert Elbaz for God's sake, I mean...Lanvin, pheww, is just JUST! you know? Yes you know. You know a freaking lot more that I do.
Soooooooo...anyways. I just wanted to say that, Lanvin has reached a new level of greatness for me. Forever tattoed on my soul. It is the only collection that has made me get up of my bed, where I spent the last week reading old Vogue's and Before Anne of Green Gables, before Anne of Green Gables (does that make any sense? I didn't think so); and drinking BIG amounts of peppermint tea. But you don't wanna know about the life of a simple, humble and mortal person like myself.
I'm simply expressing my gratitud towards you for giving us the most memorable collections. And I hope someday we could meet and we'll dring fancy drinks and eat fancy food in some fancy place, talking about life and, of course, I'll be wearing Lanvin... from HEAD TO FRICKING TOE. Ahem.

I told you mother, you shouldn't have done that.

Once upon a time, there was this beautiful pair of clogs. Super high, super wooden-ish, super everything. They were the Super Clogs. One horrible day my mother said "this are so outdated now, I'm giving them away". Myself, the victim in all this, try to warn her of all the horrible things that could happen if she throw those away. She didn't listen...
Years later Karl Lagerfeld made a collection and BAM!!! there they were again; the clog is back.
Now my mother and I are mourning the loss of the super clogs. Lost forever in eternity. RIP.

While we mourn, we like to lust after this ones right here.
